We've all encountered bad neighbors from time to time, but I've had to endure mine for many, many years. I thought that I'd share some of their exploits here.

This just in
You say that "if you've seen one cart full of crap, you've seen them all"? True. But, with the day to day visual changes that spring brings, it's easiest now to see that these are, indeed, new pictures each post and not from a stockpile. This shot is from just a few minutes ago.

fresh load
Well, the recycling business is back to being a seven-day affair. Saw a deposit being made on Mother's Day morning at 7:50 AM, but the sorting had to wait until yesterday so that a BBQ could be held.
Last night, there was either a quick midnight drop-off or some fuzzy critter(s) were going through what was already there.
The above picture is of a load that was just delivered. The clanking bottle sorting has begun!
Keeping the window closed only blocks out a portino of the din (as does the radio or fan).

It's springtime!
Forget what the calendar says. Spring has finally arrived. Yesterday (top picture) saw the first shopping cart filled with recyclables ready to be redeemed. Since it was the first one of the season, the load a a bit smaller. Spring training, you know.
Today, the business is back to a more normal level.
But, what's this I see? A new helper? He looks young and healthy enough to bring in BIG loads of crap. Ah, spring! Can the stench, rodents and flies that this garbage attracts be far behind?
