business as usual

Photobucket

Late Monday morning there looked to be someone from the city finally inspecting the property. Rather than the bags of crap in the rear, he seemed to be focused upon some scrap wood which was alongside the house.
Within 15 minutes of the guy leaving they were back out in back futzing around.

But, I was optimistic because yesterday the space where they usually stored their junk was clear!! And, it remained so through the daylight hours.

Sadly, that was very short-lived. I woke this morning to find their yard filled once again with bag upon bag of crap. What the hell did they do? Hide this stuff in their house???

Clearly, these slobs have absolutely no intention altering their behavior for anyone.

So, today, it's back to business as usual.

how pretty

Photobucket

I know that the image is a bit blurry, but don't those cans look pretty glistening in the late afternoon sun?

Photobucket

Here's one from 6 PM as the sun's gone behind some clouds again. The pickers have just gone in now, so those bags will remain out there tonight attracting rodents until the whole process resumes again in the AM (if not later this evening).

still at it

Photobucket
Photobucket

Just when you think that this nonsense is winding down for the season, these asses are kicking it back up into high gear. They've been at this bullshit today since before 8 AM.

The above two photos were taken at about 5 PM.

With the cooler weather, we've seen this trash draw in increased rodent activity so it's well past time to give us all a f&^*%in# break and put an end to this already!!!!!!!

in the cool of the morning

Photobucket

Even though the morning temperatures now hover around 50, they still like to get an early start on their sorting and picking. What an admirable work ethic!

recent activity

Photobucket

I love this: Keep in mind that all of the people in this house related. Here are the folks from the upper floor picking through the recycling pail of the people who live on the first floor. You'd think that since they're related that this crap would be set aside for them!

night picking

Photobucket

Yes, I know that it's hard to see from this flash photo (which was taken less than ten minutes ago), but the assholes from next door decided to come out at 10:45 PM to sort through their crap IN THE DARK. Like no one would notice that they were there?????

I called the local precinct, so we'll see what happens when (or if) they arrive.

rainy days and Mondays...

With apologies to the US Post Office motto:

storm after the lull

Photobucket

After about a week's lull in early morning nonsense, at about 8:45 this morning the woman scavenger came trotting in with the load of crap pictured above. Thankfully, the sorting was kept to a minimum and all was quiet until 3:45 when the action pictured below took place.

Go crap!

Saturday spread

Photobucket

If it's Saturday afternoon, then it must be time to put out a spread.

Last night in the complete darkness (so that they couldn't be seen) I heard them at 9:30 and again at 10:40 noisily dropping off bags, so this isn't any surprise - but it's still BS.

Tornado?

Photobucket

The weather forecasters are all foaming at the mouth over this afternoon's tornado warning for NYC. But that ain't gonna stop these folks from picking through their latest trash-can scavenged goodies!

Tuesday - still raining

Photobucket

They're back in business today. I guess that it takes a lot of bottles and cans to pay for that (illegally) parked limo that they have in the driveway.

Monday in the rain

Photobucket

I was fooled. Last Wednesday the back corner of their yard was cleaned out and the bottle and can sorting only lasted about 15 minutes last Thursday and Friday. I had mistakenly thought that this BS was coming to an end. Guess that they were just sprucing up for their weekend party.

What do we have come Monday afternoon? A resurgence! Perhaps because of the rain it didn't last too long (thankfully).

If this crap doesn't attract critters, then why do they store this junk as far away from their house as possible?

PARTY!

Photobucket
Photobucket

We were out on Saturday afternoon, so we missed the beginning of their festivities. But, we did we did get home around 6:30 PM the backyard party was going full storm. While they did move the crowd indoors about 10 PM, as you can see in the first photo, they didn't bother to close their door (they almost never do) so the loud music and louder, drunken talk carried in the air and into all of the neighboring houses.

Of course, they had to leave the door open so that the little kids in the house could periodically come out to shoot a couple of baskets or just or have screaming contests.

A complaint about the din was made to 311 at 11:15 PM. In an attempt to get some sleep, we closed our windows and put on the ceiling fan and air conditioner.

We were able to fall asleep without too much trouble, but were awoken at 1:57 AM by the increased assault of noise coming from the house.

This time, I called the local precinct "We'll try to send a car" and attempted once again to go back asleep.

Getting up at 7AM we found that the party was still going strong, the music had been turned off, but the people inside were louder and drunker.

You can see in the second photo that they still hadn't closed their door (and, yes, that is last year's Christmas wreath still on it).

It was only when I left the house at 8:40 AM that I saw some of their guest going home!

We were out again on Sunday afternoon, but when we got home in the early evening we could see that they were partying again! This time, whale the adults were out in the back, the children must've been asleep in bed as the house itself was dark with the door closed. Clearly the parents knew that their behavior was loud and disruptive, and wanted to shield their kids, but it was still okay to poop on all the neighbors.

And, what about the complaints that were made to the police? According to the page at 311 officers visited the house at 3:00 AM and "took action to fix the condition". Well, besides the cops taking four hours to respond (much better than no at all), they weren't very effective when they did.

The was one good thing about the party: no bottle and can sorting!

cookout

Photobucket

Now that the bottle and can sorting is done, it's time for a cookout! Again, no charcoal will be injured - just what looks like what once was an old cabinet that was just unloaded from their van.

Photobucket

With the fire well under way, it's time to take out the circular saw to make sure that there is enough wood to keep this fire going for hours!

Sunday stockpile - and re-sort

Photobucket

After yesterday afternoon and evening's s#$t sorting, we have Sunday morning's nice, neat stockpile.

Photobucket

Unfortunately, come Sunday afternoon, these a-holes are re-sorting all the crap that they sorted yesterday!

another Saturday of sorting

Photobucket

As this is the third consecutive Saturday afternoon of this, it seems that Saturday afternoons are becoming their prime time for bottle and can sorting.

Last week, this BS went on for a full fours hours straight. I hope (but don't expect) today to be better.

Saturday's crap

Photobucket
Photobucket
Just in case you might think that this bottle sorting mess is only an occasional event. Here are two photos from this past Saturday afternoon.

These asses spent nearly four - that's right four - continuous hours sorting their trash and then they started in again for another two hours Sunday morning at 8:30.

today's garbage picking

Photobucket
Just a look at this morning's load of crap! It's a feast day for vermin and bugs!

this is a barbeque?

Photobucket
Haven't these people ever heard of charcoal? Is is any wonder why our houses smell like they've been in a fire when these idiots burn a disemboweled shipping pallet for their cookouts? Isn't this supposed to be illegal in NYC?

piles of it

Look at all these bags of crap strewn about. Now try and tell me that all of these bottles and cans aren't a sanitation or health (rodent, bug) problem!

bottles & cans = bugs and rodents

Photobucket

Photobucket
Photobucket

How would you like to deal with the noise and smell of this daily large-scale collection of bottles and cans?

I know that the rodents and bugs just love it!
