party night

For the second consecutive Saturday, it was party night at the neighbors.
In the top photo you can see the preparations just getting underway. This was about 1PM. The music from the mob started being cranked up at around 3:30. The party was still going strong when I called the police at 9:30 that evening. As it turned out, someone else had already filed a complaint and a "car is on the way". Usually, I take statement like that from the police with a grain of salt. But - lo and behold - about ten minutes later a car must've arrived because quite suddenly the music and backyard floodlights were turned off and the crowd went inside and closed the door!!! And, as you can see from the bottom photo, these folks just love leaving their door wide open. Guess they must like bugs.
